Cookies policy.
How Newishgrid uses cookies under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.
What cookies are.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. The site uses two kinds: strictly-necessary cookies that are required for the site to function, and optional cookies that you may accept, reject, or customise.
The categories used on this site.
Strictly necessary. Always on. Used to remember your cookie-preferences choice itself, and (when applicable) to maintain a session if you are logged in to a booking system. These are exempt from consent under PECR.
Functional. Off by default. Would remember preferences such as font size or display mode. Not in active use on this site at the time of writing; the toggle is provided so the framework is correct if functional cookies are added later.
Analytics. Off by default. Anonymised page-view counts where an analytics provider is connected after deployment. No personal identifiers are stored.
Marketing. Off by default. Remarketing or advertising cookies if any third-party advertising service is connected after deployment. No marketing cookies are set unless you accept this category explicitly.
How to manage your preferences.
The cookie banner appears on your first visit. You can accept all, reject all, or customise category-by-category. To change your preferences after the first visit, use the "Manage cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page on the site. The link opens the same Customise dialog and lets you change category settings at any time.
You can also clear cookies in your browser. Doing so will reset the consent state, and the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Legal basis.
This policy operates under PECR (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 as amended) and UK GDPR. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is the supervisory authority and you have the right to lodge a complaint at ico.org.uk if you believe your rights have been breached.
Updates.
This policy was last reviewed on 12 January 2026. Changes will be reflected on this page and on the cookie banner the next time you visit.
